How we prepare new talent for Fashion Week

No model walks their first Fashion Week unprepared — not on our roster. Every new face enters a development programme that runs eight weeks before the season: walk coaching in the actual show shoes, test shoots with agency photographers, and fittings timed like the real thing.

Week one is foundations: posture, pace, and the turn. Weeks two to four add difficulty — stairs, cameras, quick changes, and the famous Saturday session where seniors like Élodie walk alongside newcomers and give notes.

Confidence on the runway is rehearsed. What looks effortless in September was drilled in July.

Then come the test shoots: three looks, natural light, no retouch. The images build the book, but the real product is composure — learning to hold a pose, take direction, and reset between frames.

Show week itself is stage-managed: schedules checked nightly, call times padded, a booker on the phone from first casting to last finale. New faces are never sent to more than three castings a day in their first season.

The programme is open to every signed new face at no cost — development is our investment, not theirs. To be considered, start at Get Scouted.
